Support & Management

The BLOX were designed to be self monitoring. They monitor disk drive & CPU temperatures, RAID status, and run predictive disk drive failure software.

Building Blox IT actively monitor all BLOX reports for success or failure, and will contact the customer if remedial action is required.

A daily status check is performed to ascertain whether the BLOX should continue functioning in its role (ie: it's functionality can be turned off/on remotely). The status check also allows updates and maintenance to be performed automatically.

If required, Building Blox Support staff can remotely log-on to a BLOX to investigate & resolve problems.

NOTE: The support & management mechanisms of 3rd party products will vary from that stated above.
